One puzzle per day, shared by every player in the world. Six waves — Standard (15s), Tricky (10s), and Savage (5s) — each harder than the last. You get one word submission per wave.
Submit early and bank your leftover seconds to spend on tougher waves. Hit all six waves without missing for a Perfect Round bonus.
Come back every day to keep your streak alive.
Complete that day's Daily Challenge to unlock Infinite Mode for the rest of the day. It locks again tomorrow — so finish the daily first, then keep playing.
No waves, no limit — just keep going for as long as you can. Find a word on every block or it's game over. Three wrong words and you're out — each strike lands on the board, so watch them stack up. The timer gets tighter as you progress: Standard gives you 15 seconds, Tricky 10, Savage just 5 — with no banked time to fall back on.

Your score is built from four things:
Each letter has a point value based on how rare it is. Rarer letters reward bigger, bolder word choices.
Try closing the app fully and reopening it — this fixes the issue in most cases. On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to the app switcher, swipe Letter Drop away, then reopen it.
If that doesn't work, check your internet connection. If the problem keeps happening, contact us at hello@unserious.games and let us know your device and iOS version.
Your streak resets if you miss a day — you need to complete at least one Daily Challenge every 24 hours to keep it going.
Streaks are stored locally on your device, so uninstalling the app will also reset it. If you believe your streak reset in error, get in touch and we'll take a look.
Infinite Mode unlocks each day once you've completed that day's Daily Challenge. It locks again at midnight, so you'll need to complete the new daily first before playing Infinite Mode again.
If you've completed today's daily and it's still showing as locked, try closing the app fully and reopening it.
Scores and stats are stored locally on your device. If you've deleted and reinstalled the app, your history won't be recoverable. If your score disappeared without reinstalling, please contact us with your device details and we'll investigate.
